Where To Go To Have Non-Invasive Skin Tightening Procedure In Saratoga

Non-Invasive Saratoga Skin Tightening Procedure are becoming increasingly popular and this is mostly due to the fact that it causes no permanent damage to the skin. If you are wanting to have any form of non-invasive skin tightening done, then you will really need to consider what is involved so that you can ensure that you are the perfect candidate. If you have mild to moderate skin laxity, then it is likely that a non-invasive skin tightening procedure will work effectively for you and will provide you with your desired results. There are different types of noninvasive skin tightening procedures so you can speak with your doctor to decide which will be the better option for you.

The first type is radio frequency skin tightening, this is when heat is used to stimulate the production of new collagen and contracts existing collagen fibers. You will usually get visible results from radio frequency skin tightening within 6 months although more treatments may be required. The effects of radio frequency skin tightening can last for around 2 to 3 years. Some of the side effects of this type of treatment are mild to moderate pain during the treatment, redness and swelling within the first week. Usually, swelling only lasts for up to 24 hours but it can be longer so maybe it would be best to expect that. There is no downtime required with radio frequency treatment so you will not need to take any time off work. It is a very quick and effective treatment.

A second type of skin tightening treatment is Ultherapy or ultrasound, this also uses heat to get deep into the skin to produce new collagen. It can be more effective than radio frequency treatment, but it has been known to be more painful during the treatment, not afterwards. Results from Ultherapy are usually visible within 2 to 6 months with the results lasting for up to a year. Again, this treatment may require multiple treatments. In relation to side effects, there may be redness, swelling and bruising once the treatment has been carried out. You may even feel some sensations of numbness or tingling a few eeks after you have had the treatment.

A third type of treatment is Nonablative skin tightening which is a laser treatment where the lasers heat the tissue beneath the epidermis to stimulate collagen production without damaging the skin. This is an effective treatment but does not last as long as the other types of noninvasive treatments mentioned above. The results of this treatment can be seen straight away but to get the full effect it could take up to 6 months and may require multiple treatments. Mild pain, discomfort and stinging can be expected during the procedure and then some swelling and redness after the treatment has been carried out. The downtime after having Ultherapy can vary, some may cause mild peeling for 4 or 5 days, but some may not need any downtime at all.
